Terms and refunds
What you're buying, when you get it, what you own, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Who you're buying from
RetainerFree is the trading name of Harry Myers, a sole trader. RetainerFree isn't a registered company, so there's no company number. Postal address: 532 Meadow Mill, Stockport, SK1 2AP. Email team@retainerfree.com about anything on this page.
What you're buying
Playbook (£1,000): a playbook written for your brand, with the contents listed on the prices page on the day you buy, including the Monday Check.
Playbook + Launch (£2,000): everything in Playbook, plus 6 ad designs as Canva templates you can edit, 2 video ad scripts with shot lists, your launch plan as a page you click through with the Monday Check on it, and a call at day 30 to look at your numbers.
Price and payment
One fixed price, paid in full up front by card on Stripe's secure checkout. We don't take split payments. RetainerFree isn't VAT registered, so there's no VAT to add: the price you see is the price you pay. There's no contract and nothing renews. We don't offer discounts or discount codes.
Getting started
Within one working day of your payment, we email you a link to your questionnaire. It asks about your customers, your numbers and what you've tried. The more you tell us, the more your playbook is about you.
When you get it
Your playbook arrives within 7 working days of your completed questionnaire, or 10 with Launch. Working days are Monday to Friday, not counting UK bank holidays. It's often sooner. If we need something else from you to finish, we'll tell you straight away.
What you own
Everything we make for you is yours to keep and use for your own brand.
You run your own ads. Your ad account, pixel and files stay in your name, and we never need long-term access to them.
Results
We don't promise results. Nobody can honestly promise your sales will go up. Your playbook says what's likely and why, and what to measure.
Refunds
Made for you, or your money back: if your playbook could have been written for any brand, tell us within 14 days of the day we deliver it and we'll refund the £1,000 Playbook price. On Playbook + Launch, that's the £1,000 Playbook part, not the full £2,000. Email team@retainerfree.com with the email address you paid with. We refund to the card you paid with.
This promise is ours, and it's on top of your legal rights below, not instead of them.
Your legal rights
Nothing here takes away your rights under UK law. If you buy as a consumer rather than for a business, those include the right to cancel within 14 days of buying, which is separate from the refund promise above. If you ask us to start work in that time and then cancel, we may keep a fair amount for the work already done.
The law that applies
These terms are under the law of England and Wales. The terms on this page on the day you buy are the ones that apply to your order.
